Curtis Johnson

President/Director of Athletic DevelopmentcujoBW1

“Through my love for hockey as a child I was able to find a career after living the dream of a Jr. hockey player. This career turned out to not just be a typical 9-5 job but a dream that I am so ever grateful for still to this day. I have been able to coach so many amazing individuals throughout my 6+ years in this field from kids, parents, pro athletes, grandma’s and even the person who wants to lose 50-100 lbs. These clients have helped build the community we know today and I am proud to say they all have changed my life forever. Being imbedded into the CrossFit Community I have found a hobby that has taken hockey’s place and a life goal to help change as many peoples lives as possible while building CuJo Conditioning/ CrossFit Lloydminster into one of Canada’s top boxes.”

Tina Ferguson

Head Strength & Conditioning Coach/ Nutritionist

Tina Joined the CuJo Team in the summer of 2012 after spending over 4 years as a instructor in the Kinesiology department at Red Deer College.

“I grew up being involved in a variety of sports which led me to choose a career path in Kinesiology and Sport Studies. Through the experiences I gained during my post secondary education, I grew to love the strength and conditioning and fitness testing field. This led me to complete a Master’s of Science degree in Exercise Physiology. I have had the privilege of training a variety of individuals – from professional athletes, national level athletes to stay at home moms, and grandparents; it is rewarding to work with a variety of people!  My research and experimentation with a variety of training methodologies eventually led me to Crossfit, and I fell in love with it! I truly believe it is one of the most efficient and effective methods of training today. I very much enjoy helping others improve their skills and their fitness levels and watching people transform their lives.”
