2013 BOTB EVENT 1.3

With a continuous clock perform the following:

7 min to complete:

750m Row (for time)

With the remainder of the time perform as many reps as possible of:

Muscle ups

7 min to complete:

750m Row (for time)

With the remainder of the time find a:

7 rep max Deadlift

7 min to complete:

750m Row (for time)

With the remainder of the time perform:

Max Handstand hold for seconds (1 attempt)

Movement Standards

Rowing:

  • You will start in the rower
  • Athlete can set rower to their liking before getting in
  • Judge will always set/ reset Rower monitor at each stage

Muscle-ups:

  • Rings will be set to a standard height before hand with females having access to a box to be able to reach
  • Muscle-up starts with the arms locked in full extension with your feet off the ground (no turn-out required)
  • Muscle-up ends with a fully locked out elbow in the vertical plane. (meaning no push-offs at the top till lock out is reached)

Deadlift:

  • Must reach full extension of the hips and knees at the top
  • Shoulders behind the bar
  • No bouncing the bar at the bottom of reps
  • Must be touch and goes (no pause at the bottom)
  • Lifting straps are not  permitted

Handstand hold:

  • A part of your hand must touch or be in the hole of the bumper plate
  • Heels are the only body part touching the wall ( no butt or calf’s)
  • Must be in control before timer starts
  • Legs must be inside shoulder width

Scoring:

  • 50 point event (300 points total)
  • Each Row and exercise will be scored separately
