Movement Standards:

Power Snatch

  • Full extension of knees, hips, elbows
  • Bar over midline of body
  • Bar starts on ground for each rep
  • Bar has to be inside square
  • Allowed to press out
  • Allowed to squat snatch


  • Chin past bar
  • Full extension of the elbow at bottom of pullup


  •  Hip crease must go below knee in squat
  • Athlete must hit target clearly
    • Males – ball must clear white horizontal line
    • Females – ball must hit target
    • Cannot catch ball on bounce.  Must be rested on ground before you can pick up again
